ARTIST

My inspiration for my photography is my family. Without them, I would not be where I am today. Every smile, every laugh, and every word has been an encouragement to strive to be the best I can be.

I love capturing the innocence of a child. Those little day to day moments in their lives that slip by us so quickly. What they see, what they express and how they share are why I live for these moments.

My passion

My passion is photographing babies & kids. I just can’t help myself when I see those sweet little innocent faces! I love to capture them just being themselves. Every child has their own personality, what makes them laugh, what they love and who they are. That’s what I love to portray.

Our time together

When we set our session time, I want to be able to get to know you & your baby/child so they feel comfortable with me. With the children, I always take some time at the beginning to talk with them first and let them get to know me in not being the crazy lady following them all around with her camera! Together we will laugh, share, and have fun while I capture those moments.

Most of my newborn sessions are done in the studio, though I will come to your home if there is adequate lighting. In the summertime, some parents opt to have some newborn photos taken outdoors. When you book a session with me, we’ll talk about what you hope to achieve with your session and what poses are your favorites!

What to wear – my suggestions

I think my 2nd passion is children’s fashion! I seriously can’t walk into the mall without going to a children’s store and looking through all the clothes…and my kids are all grown! Yes, I do have 4 beautiful granddaughters tho…so I’m always buying clothes for them, or having them custom made.

I do love bright colors and cute clothes…The Children’s Place, Gymboree, Matilda Jane, Chasing Fireflies, Janie & Jack, oh gosh…just about any cute kids clothing! Don’t worry too much, just bring along a little suitcase with a few clothing changes and I’ll help you pick something out if you’re unsure…basically, just keep it simple, but try to stay away from logo shirts.

My style

My photography style is a clean, & simple style. I love colors! I love to see kids having fun and laughing….that’s what life is all about! I wanna see them get silly, jump, dance and sing like kids should! I’m all about having fun and letting kids show it. I don’t like to tell kids to “smile”, or say “cheese”. I try to capture them as who they are and really just let them be kids and have fun!
