Reviews of Pure Baby Book

Below I have gathered reviews of my Pure Baby Newborn Photography Guide from customers to share with you.  If you have purchased my book and would like to send in your review, please email me.  I would love to hear from you!

*  Robin’s book is perfect in every way.  Perfect size.  Perfect organization.  Perfect artwork.  And the perfect information for a photographer wanting to start in newborn photography.  The size is perfect because I can easily bring it along with me on my shoots and pull it out for reference.  The organization is perfect because the pictures are large enough that I can find the pose I am attempting to do when I flip through its pages.  And then once I’ve found the pose I want, I not only get the image as a visual but handy tips in the caption below.  The information is perfect because it walked me through the entire process of a newborn shoot including:  lighting, posing, calming, products and interaction with family.  Thank you so much Robin! ~ Cali Walters of Cali Jenae Photography

* Hey Robin! I recieved your book, and really love it!!!! I love how you showed different pictures and explain how you got your pose. My favorite was at the end where you answered asked questions and gave your tricks on how to do things. I enjoyed reading how you did your post processing, which is the first time I’ve seen someone explain something like that before. =) Thank you very much, you have helped me sooo much. ~ Amanda Smith

*  I just received the Robin Long Purebaby Posing Recipes book the other day. I LOVED it! I am a Newborn Photographer, and have many, many, many babies under my camera ;) YET, reading this book, I now have new ideas, and learned a few more tricks to try out in the future. SO EXCITED about that!! The book is gorgeous and filled with her captivating newborn photography. I keep picking it up and looking at it over and over ~ Thank you Robin!! ~ Mary Macomber

*  I received Pure Baby Posing Guide as a gift from my husband. (I guess he does listen to what I want!) I was so excited to read it, the moment I opened it I didn’t close it until I read the last page!  Robin Long does amazing work and it really shows.  I consider this to be very generous of her to put all the information she gathered up in one book!  It’s not text book, which I love!  She gives great detail from poses to Photoshop techniques.  I don’t think she missed anything about newborn photography.  LOVE the book, wouldn’t change a thing!  Thank you Robin for coming out with such a great product! ~ Claudia

*  I loved this book!  Robin’s clean, simple style captures the pure innocence and beauty of a newborn’s precious first days.  This book is a treasure chest of useful information– everything from “finding the light” to her post-processing routine, and everything in between!  Beautifully photographed and well-written, this book is a must-have for anyone interested in pursuing Newborn Photography! ~ Erin Peerboom

*  This book is AMAZING!  I thought the price was a little high at first, but when I got the book and read through everything that is covered, I realized that it was well worth the investment.  Robin shares so much about newborn photography that is going to save me a lot of time in figuring out myself.  I can’t wait to apply all her tips and tricks!  Thanks Robin! ~ Karen Garber

* LOVE the book Robin!  It has helped me work out some of the logistics (at least in my head).   I really like the idea of having a plan to shoot with 5 different set ups. I always found it difficult to decide what to do and I tend to get flustered easily.  I’ve gotten better and my posing has improved a bit, but some of your angles are fun and different and very much my style (or at least the style I strive for lol).   The specifics on your camera settings and metering was EXTREMELY helpful.  Again, going in with a baseline plan of how to shoot in terms of technicality REALLY helps me a lot.   Thank you for explaining your light source and position for the pictures. ~ Natasha Beccaria

*  WOW!  I was blown away with the amount of information in this book!  It’s a small book, but loaded with information.  I love all the pictures and how you explain how to do the posing.  The information you give about how to set up and get correct lighting is so helpful.  I especially loved seeing how you post process your images!  Things are starting to click for me now and I understand more after reading your book.  Thank you so much for sharing so much of what you do!  You’re awesome! ~ Cynthia Stratton

*  At first I thought this was just a posing book.  When I got the book I was pleasantly surprised with how much information was included!  I like your pure posing part and how you explain how to transition from set up to set up.  I have a hard time getting the baby positioned right and your tips really help!  I can’t wait for my next newborn!  ~ Jennifer Connor

* Hi Robin, I just wanted to say ‘Thank you’ for making such a wonderful book. Your images are amazing, and one day hope to be able to use your very helpful hints to take photos as amazing as yours are. Thank you again ~ Kerrie McKeown (Always Treasured Photography)

* I received Robin’s newborn posing guide in the mail the other day and I have LOVED looking through it! So many pictures and tons of ideas and vendor websites for any beginner!  It’s such a cute, little book and  there is a lot of great information in there.  I read it through once, but am going to read back through it again as soon as I have a quiet minute to myself!  Thank you, Robin, it’s perfect. ~ Jamie Lynn Photoz
