Words of Wisdom by a Wise Man | Photographer Salem, Oregon

I have to share this, as this man is always an inspiration to me & makes me cry every time I read his journal as he battles his cancer & continues in his faith. A wonderful man and witness of God….written by Dale Price
First, I must praise my God for the times of respite at this time. He has given it to me and to my wife and family as a temporal blessing.
Second, I must remember that my life, like yours, is terminal. My days are numbered and I must choose to live them in Hi Definition. Even without the immediate terror of spreading disease I must maintain a mind set that clearly sees the things that have eternal value and the things that do not.
Third: Obedience, love, and faithfulness are not things that can be put off until tomorrow. To rejoice always or to pray without ceasing I must begin now or it will never happen. These things can’t wait for the trigger of fear. They must begin today and then continue when tomorrow becomes today.
Fourth: My life is not my own. I have been called and saved according to God’s own mercy and grace. This life I live is His life and I pray that Christ will be exalted whether by life or by death. He gives me Divine appointments every day. This is the day the Lord has made for me to live and I am to live it to His glory.

This is what’s been going on in my mind lately….Is it Summer yet??? I am so ready for summer! I wanna get outside and start photographing cute little kids again! You probably remember little Maddie who I’ve photographed quite a few times…I love her hair…I want curly hair like hers!…she told me I couldn’t have it tho..:O(….well, so anyway…I’m going to be posting some pics from Summer..just so we can get in the mood for Summer to get here!
so stay tuned….I’ll just post random Summer shots..maybe it will make it come sooner…ha!

Little Peanut | Newborn Baby Photographer, Salem Oregon

Oh was this little boy a gem! Can you believe he slept the ENTIRE 4 hours while we moved him, curled him and messed with him? Little Ryker, only 5lbs and 8 days new LOVED my studio! I think he was just so nice and toasty the whole time, why wake up? What a little peanut he is. I loved photographing him and his beautiful mommy and handsome daddy. Don’t they make such a cute little family?! Proud Grandma even stopped by to watch for a bit!
Thank you everyone for coming to the studio! I totally enjoyed every minute…and thank you to my wonderful friend Cherrie for coming along to help assist me with this shoot! Awesome family….Awesome friend!…Beautiful Baby Boy!

So my teen daughter had this project to do in her photography class….she came up with the idea of doing an ad print for Skittles candy. So she enlisted her nieces to be her models & set the scenes for what she had in mind….Since we’re talking candy, I don’t think she had to twist their arms too much…little Katie, at just 19 months old somehow succeeded in putting 17 skittles in her mouth at one time!..Beckie did a great job for being in her first semester of Photography in High School!

Cute little Kade was a blast! His silly little giggles and shining smiles just filled up the studio! We had fun bouncing all over the place and he even shared with me how the “Indiana Jones” song goes!

Oh how precious is this lil boy! Eli came into the studio at 6 weeks old and weighing in at 12 lbs….I was soooo excited to get a baby boy! With all the girls I’ve done, I just don’t see too many boys. Course I had to keep remembering to cover him so I didn’t get sprayed in the face! He never did that too me…he was just too sweet. I just loved his little cry too…so soft…he just warmed my heart.
